Alastair Fuad-Luke

Alastair Fuad-Luke is a facilitator, educator, researcher and activist, tenured full professor and Vice-dean for Research of the Faculty of Design and Art. His expertise crosses Design for Sustainability, co-design and design activism. His books include Agents of Alternatives (co-edited), Design Activism, and The Eco-design Handbook. Previously he was a full professor at Aalto ARTS, Aalto University, Finland. Over the last decade he has been involved in several EU funded projects including DEEDS and SHIFT. Currently he focuses on the challenges facing agri-culture, inquiring how designers, artists and small farmers can together explore different modes of value creation and cultural production, creating a pilot network, muu-baa, in South Tyrol
