Nitzan Cohen

After several years as a designer at Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design, and earlier graduating from the design academy in Eindhoven; Nitzan Cohen established his own design practice- Studio Nitzan Cohen. A multi disciplinary design studio engaged in projects ranging from industrial products, furniture and spaces to art-direction and strategic consultancy. Collaborating with a wide range of partners -from large international corporations to small artisnal workshops, cultural institues and Museums.
Combining design work with design research and design didactic, in recent years Nitzan Cohen held a chair for Industrial and System Design at the HBK Saar in Saarbrücken and a professorship at the masters program for space and communication at the HEAD – Haute école d’art et de design, Genève. Nitzan Cohen is currently a professor for product design at the faculty of design and art of the Free University of Bolzano.
