A Line Going for a Walk - Finding Strength Within Simplicity

“A drawing is simply a line going for a walk. “

Paul Klee

The creative process often resembles a wandering line — not always as straightforward as the one you’re about to follow, but rather unpredictable, layered, and rich in detours.

Throughout this semester, we focused on exploring that process in depth — through a series of short workshops and one final project, centered around a single material: metal wire.

This industrial material quietly accompanies us in everyday life — subtle, almost invisible. Its simplicity, however, is anything but limiting. On the contrary, it invites open interpretation, offering freedom while also demanding precision. Working with it means walking a fine line: reducing form to its essence, while pushing the boundaries of its characteristics and expression. It’s a constant negotiation between clarity and complexity — seeking strength through simplicity.

We invite you to follow this line — and discover how each project interprets this material across the fields of accessories, home objects, and outdoor design.
