Want to get to know South Tyrol?

This Remake of an old info book „Alla Scoperta del Trentino – Alto Adige“ is completely different from the original one. The assignment was to convert an old book, that we could choose, to a new version – but it was open to us, how we would make it! So I went with a minimalistic approach and a lot of white space on the pages. I tried to reuse or rework most of the old images but I also decided to take new ones. Some pages were made in a similar design as the old ones, as kind of an homage. The size of the new book is 270 mm x 320 mm and was stitched by hand with an open Swiss-Binding. The additional task was to create an artifact for the exhibition „Bücherwelt“ – so I made a lasercut-map from Trentino – Alto Adige, which goes perfectly with the topic of the book.
