Can we deal with the topic of extinction in a playful way?

“Biodivertiamoci” is a game related to the theme of extinction and in particular to the importance of biodiversity on Earth. In the game, two teams face each other to save all the endangered animals on the wall. To do this, it will be necessary, with a wooden circle balanced on the head, to overcome a path composed of four big blocks. They represent four natural environments in precarious conditions: the melting frozen worlds, the polluted rivers, the desert areas affected by drought and finally the forests decimated by deforestation. There is a connection between child and human being, which in order to reach the goal, must move carefully and therefore reduce its impact on the environment as little as possible. Each wooden circle will match a skull on the wall that the player can insert once he overcame the obstacles without error. “Biodivertiamoci” deals with the theme of extinction with a focus on the need to find a balance between man and nature to ensure the vital well-being of the terrestrial species. The aim is to stimulate a deep awareness of what it means to be a human being who can have the fate of the entire globe in his hands.
