2019/20 WS Hang è una rastrelliera portaoggetti modulare personalizzabile, formata da una struttura portante e dei moduli in canapa. La struttura è pensata per essere leggera e per riuscire a sostenere tutto il peso senza tuttavia rubare la scena ai moduli. I bastoni orizzontali, collegati alla struttura portante tramite un incastro, rendono disponibile la scelta di scambiare la posizione dei moduli e di quindi avere diverse combinazioni a seconda dei bisogni dell’utente.
A project made in the course
Canapa in forma!
During canapa in forma project we explored the properties of hemp, its history, the various ways to grow it and to process it. Through various forms of experimentation on how to give it a shape, we have created artefacts of various kinds and uses. We pressed it into forms, reinforced it with natural resins, coupled it with wood, but also only stitched it. Among the objects we have realised: there is an innovative sled, a container for conserving fruits and vegetables, a vase for plants that provides nutrients to make them grow, a game to bring children closer to hemp, a lamp inspired by the production of hemp rope.
