LUN

The idea of the project starts from a research on the social stigma of menstruation.
Talking about periods remains a social and cultural taboo in many parts of the world.
This stigma is transmitted by unrealistic advertisement, superficially packaging design and unspoken truth.
The start-up company LUN is challenging this norm by launching a menstruation kit especially for young girls.
The kit has the ability to encourage these girls by welcoming their menstruation in a positive way and puts an end to insecurity.
Once open, it contains a series of menstrual friendly products that relieve woman through their period, including also food which reduces menstrual symptoms.
After rethinking and reinventing the already existing aesthetic of various products, our goal was also to give them a more confident, inspiring and expressive look by using the color red.

A project made in the course

WELCOME

Means to get involved and expresses a further and deeper meaning related to the good behavior of hospitality. Which in fact can also be considered just common habit according to cultural standards.
