WELCOME Program
BA Major Design Semester
2019/20 WS The project Ortiya is intended to replace the classic plastic or paper Skipass with one completely eco-friendly and biodegradable created with Nettle fiber, which represents the history and culture of the Dolomites. It has a chip code on the inside usable in every Dolomites ski facility. Ortiya is perfumed with larch resin’s essential oil, which deeply affects the tourism and marketing of the territory. The fragrance is linked with the memory and emotions of the visitor, who will be unconsciously transported to his holidays in the mountains and encouraged to come back and feel as welcomed as at home.

WELCOME
Project Product Design | BA Major Design The aim of the course was to investigate hospitality from multiple points of view. “Welcome” means to open up to diversity. Means to get involved and expresses a further and deeper meaning related to the good behavior of hospitality. Which in fact can also be considered just common habit according to cultural standards.
