2021/22 SS I ideated and made a set for a portable Zen Garden that I later put to use successfully during a public performance.
The aim was to create a space of beauty leaving the passersby free to give the meaning they wanted, and giving them an Analog Memory to remember those moments by.
In the streaming I recorded just for the current situation’s sake, I decided to include neither my face in the frame neither a detail on the drawings I was making in the sand because the actual final form of my work has to be experienced in person. Video, even if real-time streaming, is not a valid substitute.
I hope I will be able to replicate the performance sometime.
