Can we divide space and give meaning to the boarders?

The ideas, doubts, thoughts and feelings behind Penelope are the focus of this journal.

Penelope is a screen intended for small spaces: it consists of two beech wood frames – one square and one rectangular – in which a series of elastic ropes are stretched. The modules can be connected to each other with Velcro straps: it is therefore easy to change the orientation of the frames and choose the most suitable configuration for use. The elastic strings act as a screen for prying eyes, however at the same time they can be objects holders. The shadows projected by Penelope onto the surrounding environment, amplify its impact.
