How is it hard for elderly people to remember to have their pills?

Pilert is a device that is designed as a reminder and an alert for elderly people. With the Pilert now elders don’t have to face the consequences nor the stress of forgetting to have their pills on time but have the relief of feeling safe through the alert feature. The device creates a stage for the elders to schedule their pill programs with the doctor right at the appointment time through an app connected to the device by Bluetooth induces the time management being ready on the device and restricted by the doctor, moreover a stage where they can send an alarm to doctor’s office over the device, in case of emergency.

ATELIERprojekte is conceived as a design experience, aimed at refining and testing technique, creativity, personal organization, research, and communication. After the study of diverse typologies of product and companies, each student freely chose a personal project to work with, consisting in an object to develop, also imagining its potential producer. The path is completed by a rich formation in digital modelling and a theoretical deepening of communicative issues touched by the project itself.
