Plants under Cover – Clo-Op

Clo-Op
It is composed by four glasses, which have been cut in the shape of a trapeze. At the base of every trapeze there are two circular holes, through which a stick of wood passes. The four sticks provided act as “bridges” between the glasses and as a lever for opening and closing the glasshouse. At the top, there is a plastic cap, made by 3D printing. The cap, which also has a trapezoidal shape, has two splits, inside which the glasses can be inserted. When the cloche is closed, they are inserted into the smaller split, when it is open, into the larger one. There are three different types of glasses: transparent, opaque (to allow less light to enter on very sunny days) and blue (color that helps the growth of the plants). The order and the position of the arrangement of the differents glasses is left to the customer to decide, based on the type of plants and the climatic conditions. When the cloche is closed, the inclination of the glasses compared to the ground is optimal for letting the sun’s ray enter. In the packaging, in addition to glasses, sticks and caps, there is also a small booklet explaining the characteristics and construction of the glasshouse. In each package, the number of elements is such that two cloches can be built.
