Passa pane

This project is an accessory for the table designed to redefine how we share bread during meals. This object is long enough to reach both ends of the table and is composed of a central hub with handles at each end. By pressing down on one of these handles, you trigger a smooth and controlled sliding action that will glide the bread container directly to your side of the table. But at the same time, the person on the opposite side, who has the bread towards them, can lift up the handle in order to pass the container gently to the other person. It is a solution that brings a touch of playfulness to the dining experience. With this object, you no longer have to wait for someone to pass the basket or shout over a lively conversation. The object successfully turns a simple daily habit into a moment of shared joy and connection around the table, making everyday dining a smoother, fun, and more connected experience that can bring people closer together.
