DIY Material Kits Program
MA Eco-Social Design Semester
2024/25 WS Under Pressure aims to explore the potential of beer spent grain in fiberboard production. The intermediate results of this research include a DIY kit that allows users to produce a tile at home for creating patterns on walls and pinning items on it.
The kit includes a mold designed to simulate fiberboard production in a DIY way at home in the oven, enabling anyone to build on my current research and explore many different paths.

DIY Material Kits
Orange peels, peanut shells, avocado seeds, the daily consumption of our favorite foods often goes together with leftovers. What if we give food waste a second life? Taking scraps as the starting point to create something new? With these Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Material Kits we document and share our hands-on research with recipes to inspire and enable (future) applications.
