"Beyond the Facade" offre un viaggio immersivo nel mito del Berghain, raccontato attraverso le voci di coloro che lo hanno vissuto. L'esperienza si compone di due elementi. Il primo consiste in un audio contenente testimonianze uniche che rivelano frammenti di momenti legati all’atmosfera del club, ai suoi spazi, alla musica, al senso di libertà e alla percezione del tempo. Le voci dei giovani frequentatori sono integrate da un DJ set, registrato durante una serata nel club berlinese. Al centro della mostra si trova un modello della facciata del Berghain, l’unica parte visibile a tutti e un potente simbolo di un luogo che cela i suoi segreti tra le mura dell’ex centrale elettrica.

Oltre la facciata, sono solo le voci a svelare l’invisibile.

"Beyond the Facade" offers an immersive journey into the myth of Berghain, told through the voices of those who have experienced it. The experience consists of two elements. The first is an audio recording featuring unique testimonies that unveil fragments of moments tied to the club’s atmosphere, spaces, music, sense of freedom, and perception of time. The voices of young attendees are interwoven with a DJ set recorded during a night at the Berlin club. At the heart of the exhibition stands a model of Berghain’s facade—the only part visible to all and a powerful symbol of a place that hides its secrets within the walls of the former power plant.

Beyond the facade, only voices reveal the unseen.
