Fuite Stand

Jakob Simmerle

This is a fruit stand made of steel, designed with a bottom shelf for smaller fruits or berries. The depth of each level decreases from bottom to top, allowing fruits of various types and sizes to be displayed in an orderly manner. At the top left and right corners, there are two handles for carrying the stand. The open wire structure ensures that the fruit has minimal contact with surfaces, helping it stay fresh longer. Additionally, the design allows for easy separation of different fruit varieties.

A Line Going for a Walk - Finding Strength Within Simplicity

“A drawing is simply a line going for a walk. “ Paul Klee The creative process often resembles a wandering line — not always as straightforward as the one you’re about to follow, but rather unpredictable, layered, and rich in detours. Throughout this semester, we focused on exploring that process in depth — through a series of short workshops and one final project, centered around a single material: metal wire. This industrial material quietly accompanies us in everyday life — subtle, almost invisible.
