The Odorall is an innovative overall with integrated scent pockets that allows you to collect scents from your surroundings, carry them with you and enjoy everyday life or work on an additional level. It makes it possible to experience scent as an invisible sensory dimension and questions the role of smell in fashion and everyday life.

Der Odorall ist ein innovativer Overall mit integrierten Dufttaschen, mit dem man Gerüche aus der Umgebung sammeln, mit sich tragen und den Alltag oder Arbeit auf einer zusätzlichen Ebene genießen kann. Er macht Duft als unsichtbare Sinnesdimension erfahrbar und hinterfragt die Rolle von Geruch in Mode und Alltag.

Odorall è una tuta innovativa con tasche profumate integrate che consente di raccogliere gli odori dell'ambiente circostante, portarli con sé e godersi la vita quotidiana o il lavoro a un livello superiore. Permette di vivere il profumo come una dimensione sensoriale invisibile e mette in discussione il ruolo dell'odore nella moda e nella vita quotidiana.

<p>Here you can see three versions of the odorall prototype. The first one from left was the first version made from lightweight recycled fabric. The second one (center) is made from denim fabric and is the final prototype and the third one (right) is an artist interpretation of my project made from recycled painters tarpaulin.</p><p> </p><p>Hier sehen Sie drei Versionen des Odorall-Prototyps. Das erste Exemplar von links war die erste Version aus leichtem, recyceltem Stoff. Die zweite (Mitte) besteht aus Jeansstoff und ist der endgültige Prototyp und die dritte (rechts) ist eine künstlerische Interpretation meines Projekts aus recycelter Malerplane.</p><p> </p><p>Qui potete vedere tre versioni del prototipo odorall. La prima da sinistra è la prima versione realizzata in tessuto leggero riciclato. Unveiling Scents. Designing With, Through, and For Smell.

While visual, acoustic, and tactile impressions often take center stage in design education, olfactory perception has received relatively little attention in design practice. Yet, most of our experiences are accompanied by a scent, even if we are not consciously aware of it. Among all our senses, none is as deeply connected to personal memories, and emotions - both positive and negative - as the sense of smell. Shouldn’t this dimension receive at least as much focus and appreciation in design education as the more established media of contemporary design?
