BENDIT fabric
Cord Raymond Rahemipour
Bendit Fabric is a simple yet versatile technique that involves stitching metal wire onto fabric. While the concept is straightforward, the creative possibilities are endless. In this presentation, I’m sharing the results of my own exploration of this method, offering a glimpse into what it can become, while intentionally leaving space for viewers to imagine their own interpretations and ideas.

Series of Bendable Vases
This series explores the idea of form and function through bendable vases made from blue denim and copper wire. Each piece is shaped individually, allowing for a wide variety of silhouettes and expressions. The vases are designed to rest on top of a simple water glass, letting the stems reach down into the water while the structure above offers an aesthetic frame for the plant.
By combining soft fabric with sculptural wire, these vases invite playful interaction and leave room for personal arrangement and interpretation.
Materials: Blue denim, copper wire.

Series of Bendable Containers
This series consists of flexible containers for small objects, created by shaping copper wire around blue synthetic fabric. Each piece explores the balance between structure and softness: some areas are left free of wire, allowing the fabric to bend and fold naturally, creating dynamic, organic forms.
The containers are designed to be reversible—each side offering a different aesthetic and texture, inviting the user to choose how to display or use them depending on mood or setting.
Materials: Blue synthetic fabric, copper wire.

Hanger
These hangers are intended for small and lightweight objects and can be easily adjusted to meet individual needs. There are two versions available: One with hooks that connect each compartment to the next. Another with more compartments and reinforced wire for added strength and durability.
Materials: Blue Denim, Copper wire, Plastic wrapped wire
