What If Humans Moved Like Matter? The day three humans connect like a XYZ-joint ...

X. Y. Z.
Not just the last letters of the alphabet.
A convergence.
A combination.
A temporary agreement between parts.
Three axes.
Three bodies.
Three movements.
One structure.
A joint-body.
Everything began with a joint.
A small aluminium connection designed to hold forces, transfer loads, and create stability through relation. We asked what might happen if humans behaved like matter. If bodies assembled and disassembled as components do. If connection became a form of movement.
In a studio, three performers explored three ways of coming together and three ways of parting. Bodies rotated, shifted orientation, and redistributed weight. X became Y. Y became Z. The structure changed. The connection remained.
The resulting film travelled through public space aboard an XYZ Cargo bike. One body cycled. One carried the moving image. The joint moved through the city, searching for new connections. Watching. Being watched. Waiting to see what happens when a material interacts, when it begins to behave like a body – alive, transforming, shaping, and moving.
