We developed different printed materials for the exhibition by applying the visual identity guidelines set by the DESIGN GROUP.

The postcard features three different variations of the identity’s graphic and serves as an event invitation and publicity support.

The flyer is a folded A3 and contains an explanatory text as well as a preview of the photographs featured in the exhibition. On the back of the flyer, the identity’s poster in its black and white version is to be found.

The catalogue comes with a curatorial text and a historical overview written by the Partner Fondazione Museo Storico del Trentino. On the catalogue’s cover, there is the poster’s graphic, and the inside shows the exhibited photographs alongside their descriptive captions.

A project made in the course

Design | Publish | Exhibit

In this project, we were working on the branding and communication for a small historical photography exhibition, commemorating the bombardment of St. Martino, Trento in May 1944 in collaboration with the ‹Fondazione Museo Storico del Trentino›. While individual design proposals have been created in the first phase, we used the second part of the semester to work together as a project team, in four subgroups on branding, printed and animated posters, a social media campaign, leaflet, postcard, a small catalogue, the curation of the exhibition and its structure and set up as well as the documentation of the entire project up to the opening at the end of May 2024. We designed, published, exhibited – and documented.
