Make It Better Program
BA Major Design Semester
2023/24 SS Fempower is a safe space for everyone who encounters obstacles in everyday life because of their gender. With workshops, talks and other events, Fempower enables mutual and personal empowerment. The new visual identity of Fempower conveys the power of this place with a strong color and expressive typography. It pushes the boarders, not only visually, but also conceptually and demands the space and attention that Fempower needs and deserves. The striking aesthetic now boldly symbolizes resilience and unity and with that ensures that Fempower stands out as a beacon of support and solidarity.

Discussing past and current influences, and exploring cutting-edge tech in interactive workshops, students develop a critical understanding of visual identity design, emphasising practical experience, iterative thinking, and fun.
