MA Eco-Social Design Semester
2023/24 SS Design and Art faculty projects often require substantial raw materials. Typically, new materials are used, disregarding those from past projects that lose value after the semester. Our motivation is to activate, through the MAMA! bike, an internal system linked with external material exchange beyond the university.
A cargo bike is a bike specifically designed for cargo transportation. In our chase MAMA-bike is a easy and efficient way to transport scrap materials from material source to the Mama-Library.

A project made in the course
Everything Is Connected
We live on a planet with limited resources. By reusing what is already there we can reduce further extraction of raw materials. What if we see products as a temporary combination of materials? Which connections allow items to be demountable and reusable?
