In this project, I focus on the photography of everyday objects that surprise and stand out from uniformity. For this project, I have chosen the urban public space, as it is rich in things to discover. This space is populated by a variety of people, different cultures, and scenes. As I move through the environment, I encounter new and surprising elements. Many aspects seem to constantly change, and everyone contributes to this dynamic. In this space, spontaneous and special compositions arise, which could represent a kind of natural movement of objects in space and time. Photographically, I select unique arrangements of objects, with unintentional and spontaneous elements. The sight of these objects gives me a sense of freedom and liveliness. Their arrangement often tells stories: Why is this placed here, or was it the wind? Who painted this wall? This temporal dimension seems to expand the space I observe through the camera. On the other hand, things that are already familiar and are not supposed to change can give me a feeling of restriction. How the objects relate to each other influences my decision to pass by or take a photo and share it with others. A unique arrangement seems to transform the contained objects, and they gain significance for me.
